Teaching & Outreach

I enjoy communicating the importance of insect biodiversity to new audiences, within and beyond the classroom. I have intensive experience in teaching insect identification on a broad taxonomic scale, helping students connect abstruse scientific terminology to what they see under the microscope. Meanwhile, I have participated in camp counseling, guest lecturing, and community outreach, cultivating my ability to foster and inspire appreciation for insect biodiversity.
